[08-05-2008] More huge tours announced
Hot on the heels of Lacuna Coil announcing their headlining Australian tour, two of Sweden's finest will be making their way to our shores later in the year.
Prog-Metal masters Opeth will return to Australia in September, while the mighty Meshuggah will make their long-anticipated Australian live debut in October.

[08-05-2008] Lamb Of God sign with Roadrunner and release new DVD
American Heavy Metal superstars Lamb Of God have signed a deal with Roadrunner Records (excluding the US and Canada).
Their first release on the label will be an all-new, 2-DVD set that will be released on June 30.
The Walk With Me In Hell 2-DVD set features around five hours of all-access footage. Disc 1 contains the highly anticipated feature documentary Walk With Me In Hell and multiple live performance extras from across the globe on the Sacrament World Tour. The documentary chronicles every detail in the lives of Lamb of God as they completed recording and toured around the world nearly three times over in support of the highly praised 2006 album Sacrament. Disc 2 includes an additional full-length Making of Sacrament feature plus LAMB OF GOD's entire, uncut, brutal performance at the Download Festival 2007, where they performed in front of over 72,000 fans.
Extras include deleted scenes, live performance videos for various tour stops, the official music video for Redneck, and a Making of Redneck>/b> documentary.

Swedish Metallers Soilwork will soon arrive in Australia for their headlining tour in May in support of their latest album Sworn To A Great Divide.
Adelaide's Double Dragon have been announced as the support band for all dates except Perth. Perth will have a local band to be announced very shortly.

[18-04-2008] Mayhem Australian tour postponed
Due to the recent amendments of the entertainment visa requirements set by the Australian Immigration Department, Norwegian Black Metallers Mayhem will not be able to get their visas approved in time for their scheduled Australian and New Zealand tour dates. As a result, tour promoter Just Say Rock, in conjunction with Mayhem has decided to postpone the tour to later this year. All parties are now working on new dates and the new dates will be released as soon as possible.
You can receive a refund by returning your ticket to the point of sale. However, all current purchased tickets will be valid for the new dates once they are announced.

Recently reformed Death Metal/Grindcore icons Carcass will be releasing a special edition of their landmark Necroticism- Descanting The Insalubrious album this month.
The expanded edition features deluxe packaging and exclusive bonus footage, is housed in a deluxe digipak with extra artwork, includes three bonus non-album tracks and the first 5000 copies come with four band member "death scene cards".
The DVD side features a brand new 30-minute documentary, featuring interviews with all key band members - Ken Owen, Bill Steer, Jeff Walker and Mike Amott.
This limited edition version will be in stores late April.
Also, each ofCarcass' five studio albums will reissued in deluxe digipaks with exclusive bonus documentaries throughout 2008.
